Why Riftbreaker mods don't travel
The Riftbreaker loads mods from a mods folder inside the game's install folder. Most of them are small files you download from a modding site or make yourself, and once they're in the Steam library on one PC, they stay there.
When you play with friends, or just on a second PC, the question is always which mods you had and which version of each. Changes like bigger inventories or different resource rates are easy to lose track of, and a friend with a different set plays a different game.
SyncCrate syncs the mods folder from one PC to the others. Files are compared by content, only the differences are copied, and you see the list before anything changes.

Sync The Riftbreaker in three steps
Install and add the game
Install SyncCrate on every PC and add The Riftbreaker in the Game Browser. Its folder is found automatically.
One PC hosts
The PC with the setup everyone should have clicks Start Hosting. The others pick it under Scan for Hosts on the same network, or paste its join code from anywhere.
Compare and sync
Check the list of new, changed and conflicting files, then Sync Now. Only the files that differ are copied, PC to PC.

Friends on different mods
Mods that change balance or resources make a game play differently, and it's hard to keep a group on the same set.
Everyone syncs the host's mods folder, so every PC has the same files.
Mods left behind on the old PC
The mods folder is inside the Steam install, which a new PC gets fresh and empty.
Sync the folder from the old PC over the local network, and your mods are back.
A mod stopped working after an update
Game updates can break mods, and a PC that updated the mod and one that didn't behave differently.
The host updates or removes the mod once. Friends sync and get only the changes.
Mods that run scripts
Some mods include Lua scripts that run in the game.
.luafiles are flagged before they sync, and nothing changes until you approve the list. Only sync with people you trust.
